IS THE GIN ANY GOOD?
Yes! The feedback we’ve had is 100% positive, and a number of organisations have come back for more. We distil and bottle our handcrafted gin using only
the best Australian botanicals and ingredients.
WHAT TYPE OF GIN IS IT?
A modern Australian dry gin, perfectly balancing citrus and spice. Hints of orange, Pepperberry, Allspice and Cardamom. Enjoy it straight, with tonic or however you like your gin.
WHAT CAN WE PUT ON THE LABEL?
Our designers will do all the work. You just need to send us a high-resolution file of your logo and tell us your organisation colours. You can also name the gin and include a personalised sentence or two on the bottle. If you’d prefer to design it yourself, we can send you our template.
ARE THERE ANY MINIMUM QUANTITIES WE HAVE TO ORDER?
No. Your organisation doesn’t make any upfront commitments. We sell the gin directly to your members and friends, whether it’s 15 bottles or 500 – you’re never out of pocket.
DO WE NEED A LIQUOR LICENCE?
We urge you to contact the appropriate Liquor Department in your state if you are not sure. For legal reasons we are unable to provide advice in this matter. Each state has different laws that are often changing. Grassroots Distilling Co holds an online packaged licence which enables us to sell online and deliver throughout the year. It’s important to note that Grassroots Distilling Co is the seller, not your organisation.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS INVOLVED?
Depending upon your location and the number of bottles purchased by your associated members and friends there may be a nominal delivery fee. This can be discussed during the on-boarding of our fundraising partnership.
WHEN CAN WE DO IT?
Unlike previous years, Grassroots Distilling Co is now bottling on a more regular basis. We can arrange a promotion time that best suits your calendar. It takes two weeks or so to create your label and product online ready for promotion.
DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER PRODUCTS?
Not at this stage. We launched with a gin because it’s become very popular, and appeals to a broad range of organisation members and friends. This helps your organisation to maximise their fundraising results.
HOW DO WE PROMOTE?
Organisations who promote well sell more, which results in more funds raised. We will share images etc that you can use to promote on your social channels, emails, website and around your organisation. We are always here to discuss your promotions and provide ideas for best results.
